1. What is Tonto?
- Tonto is a personal address-list, calendar, notepad, and so much
more.
- It is written in the Python scripting language (version 2.5).
- Its graphical interface is via the GIMP Tool Kit
(GTK+ version 2.0).
- It is released under the Gnu Public License
(GPL).
Tonto is meant to be an always-available amanuensis. It may be
started and terminated manually as needed but will usually be left
running for the duration of a Gnome Display Manager
(GDM) session.
